  When I first visited First Baptist on a Wednesday night (in need of food after a house fire), I was greeted with warm smiles by 3 different gentlemen; one being the Pastor. And they invited me to come to Sunday School and Worship services that coming Sunday. Those gentlemen went out of their ways to help a total stranger and I could only show my gratitude and sincere appreciation by accepting that Right hand of fellowship. Coming into the class that Sunday (that the last gentleman recommended I attend), again I was greeted with warm smiles and a big hug from the teacher of the Women of Wisdom class. I felt right at Home. When we all journeyed to the sanctuary for morning worship yet again, I was being greeted by one member, after another, after another, after another, asking for my name, giving me theirs, and thanking me for joining them for worship. The Pastor even Remembered my name from that Wednesday. This church actually teaches from the Bible, and I LOVE that. I want to learn about GOD, Grow in my Faith, mature Spiritually; and I am doing exactly that. Stone Mountain First Baptist family makes you feel WELCOME. I have been coming to this church ever since and became an active member, who was also baptized dedicating my new life to CHRIST. If anyone is looking for a Bible teaching church, who doors are open for Any and Everyone: this is the Home for you.
